Better Than Ever: West Milford's Wallisch Homestead puts on 3rd Annual Music Festival

The Friends of West Milford's Wallisch Homestead come together to bring you their third annual music festival, but this year it's better than ever. Complete with food and craft vendors, a classic car show, and more acts than ever, this festival will have something for everyone.

The gates will open at 10:30 am, and you will enter into a festival of fun that will last until 7 pm! Music kicks off at 11:00 am with the School of Rock showcasing the best talents from their school, followed by an acoustic set by Founding Fathers' lead acoustic player, Peter Petri. Next up will be town favorite and crowd pleaser Jimmy the Barber for the mid-day 1:30 pm set. After Cold Sweat, a three-piece combo will play their culmination of classic rock beginning at 3:00 pm. At 4:30, the OCD Band will be performing, featuring West Milford's own Chuck Bergi and Amy Goff. And the finale of the show will go to Total Soul, an eight-piece group playing all the Motown hits!

This year the festival upgraded to a large 30' x 90' tent to protect the acts and visitors, but concert-goers are encouraged to bring their own seating (ex., beach chairs or blankets).

Tickets for the Friends of Wallisch Homestead Music Festival are only $20! All proceeds from the event are used to continue the preservation of the buildings and the transformation of the site through adaptive reuse into a Cultural Center. Feel free to pre-register for this event with Venmo via wallischhomestead@gmail.com or contact Sue Lynch at 973-728-7898 with your questions.

LONG STORY SHORT: The Friends of Wallisch Music Festival is a day of nonstop music, so relax and stay awhile. Bring a chair and come down to 65 Lincoln Ave in West Milford on Saturday, September 10th, for good food, good music, and a good time!
