Welcome to The MIC's Monthly Issue, where you can see who we've featured and what we've had on repeat all month long!
The Break Plans:
The Break Plans have mastered the art of blending nostalgic charm with a forward-thinking edge, crafting a sound that bridges indie-pop’s golden eras with a fresh, modern twist. From crafting catchy anthems like "Fashionably Late" and "20's Complex" to just releasing their debut record, Mistakes Are A Friend of Mine, The Break Plans continue to turn personal experiences into universally relatable songs, building a reputation as a band that connects deeply with their audience. This December, The MIC Mag celebrated The Break Plans as our Musician(s) of the Month!

King of Cups is a fun, charismatic Neon Pop-Punk and Alternative duo lighting up the music scene with their irresistibly catchy sound and playful charm. Known for hits like "Back To You" and "Missing You," as well as festive tunes like "The War on Christmas," King of Cups revisits their holiday roots with the rerecorded and rereleased “Merry Christmas, Don’t Get Me Anything.” This refreshed take on their first seasonal anthem captures the vibrant energy and signature flair. Pan Arcadia "Dynamics"
Emerging from the cellar-studio of a Brooklyn hideaway, Pan Arcadia delivers a distinctive blend of propulsive yet soulful indie rock. Rooted in a musical upbringing that spans the rebellious energy of The Ramones, the groove of Sam & Dave, the jazzy brilliance of Miles Davis, and the anthemic drive of Status Quo, the band crafts songs that are equal parts raw and refined. We sat down with the band to talk about their journey and single, "Dynamics." Read our interview with the band, here!
