Welcome to The MIC's Monthly Issue, where you can see who we've featured and what we've had on repeat all month long!
Your Best Nightmare:
Erin Porter, also known as Your Best Nightmare, brings a unique twist to the punk genre, performing both as a solo act and with a full band. Her sound, often described as "bubblegum punk," merges infectious melodies with sharp, edgy lyrics, creating a contrast that’s as fun as it is fierce. In March, YBN released their anticipated debut album, Presents: A Simple Solution for Toxic Masculinity, and earlier this summer, Your Best Nightmare traveled to London for her first overseas tour! This September, The MIC Mag celebrated Your Best Nightmare as our Musician of the Month!

What is our Brainstorming Session?
If you've been wondering what our brainstorming sessions are all about, wonder no more! Before the session, bands/artists will fill out a questionnaire to understand more about the artist, brand, and goals. The sessions are 45 minutes on Google Meet discussing concepts, answering questions, and generating ideas. These sessions can cover anything from song release strategy, booking, social content, fan engagement, and more! After the meeting, you'll receive a list of action items on the topics covered. If you're looking for more hands-on help, a sounding board for ideas, or an expert to discuss creative strategy with, our Brainstorming Sessions are a great fit for you!
